As old as the sea

How smooth and line-free will I look when I’m almost one hundred? Bearing in mind that I was launched into the world considerably more recently than that, and already look less than stunning, I’m going for ‘worldy-wise and lived-in’ as an acceptable answer to the question – my Nana is 97 and she still looks pretty darn good, so maybe there’s hope.

For VOYA capturing and using age-old wisdom is key. This Irish company has used generations of acquired knowledge about the sea to create an organic beauty range designed to revitalise and purify your body. Dating back to 1912, when the first seaweed baths opened in Standhill, Co. Sligo, VOYA continue to produce truly natural bath, body and facial products based on their hand-harvested, organic certified seaweed, and knowledge of the local traditions of seaweed baths and seaweed treatments.

For a gentle soak, Lazy Days seaweed bath contains the finest organic seaweed, hand cut and combined with dead sea salt. Seaweed baths have been used for generations in the care and repair of skin and been proven to help against signs of ageing and cellulite, so you can relax in warm water, while the seaweed naturally rehydrates, springing back to life and releasing its soothing and moisturising properties to nourish your skin.

For a top treat for lips, try Balmelicious Vanilla & Peppermint Lip Balm, a certified organic lip balm to moisturise and protect lips with its blend of wheat germ and sweet almond oil, natural anti-oxidants, soothing liquorice root and the vitamins found in seaweed oil.

If your eyes are tired, from late nights or too much screen time, Bright Eyes will come to the rescue. This anti-oxidant rich firming eye creme is designed to make that tiredness disappear, with active certified organic ingredients and seaweed extracts to help fight the signs of ageing.

As long as I age gracefully, I’ll be happy … but I must work on swearing less, and acting more like a lady in the meantime!

(VOYA is available exclusively in the UK at Selfridges).
